El siniestro ocurri\u00f3 alrededor de las 2:15 en un cruce sin barreras, aunque con se\u00f1alizaci\u00f3n y luces intermitentes.El choque se produjo cuando un cami\u00f3n Mercedes Benz, conducido por un hombre de 47 a\u00f1os oriundo de Jos\u00e9 C. Paz, intent\u00f3 cruzar las v\u00edas con un semirremolque cargado con manzanas y fue impactado por una formaci\u00f3n de Ferroexpreso Pampeano.El semirremolque result\u00f3 da\u00f1ado, aunque tanto el chofer como los dos maquinistas salieron ilesos. Los test de alcoholemia dieron negativos.El tr\u00e1nsito estuvo interrumpido por casi cuatro horas y fue desviado por rutas alternativas.
